No Matter Your Story…

No Matter Your Story… We’d Love To Meet You!

Welcome to Fairfield Presbyterian! Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a new family, we are excited about your decision to visit our church. We know finding the right place to worship can be a big step, and we would be honored to have you join us.

If you are visiting for the first time, we’d like to give you a special welcome. We have people in the congregation who are here to help you get comfortable and to provide any important information you may need. Just raise your hand and let them know how to find you. You can also read more about us on our website or turn in a connection card if you’d like to learn more about our church.

Everyone has a story, and we want to hear yours. We often hear visitors tell us they were married here or worked here during the last 40 plus years. Those stories are the fabric of our church, and your story is important to us. If you feel called to do so, stand up, introduce yourself, and tell us about yourself.

And, if you’d like to learn more about our ministries, bible study group or if you are in need of special prayer, please just ask any member, or check out our church’s website for information.

We believe you’re in the right place, and we look forward to sharing this time of worship, learning, and fellowship with you.

What To Expect When You Visit

There is not a dress code please come as you are. Consider bringing your favorite Bible, although there are plenty available. You might also want to bring a small notebook and pen, and any children’s essentials if you are bringing the family.

Our services are broadcast live over zoom. So If you are traveling, or housebound, contact the church in advance for our zoom code.

When you first arrive, you’ll be greeted and handed a church bulletin that lists topics for the church service. Grab an empty seat and get comfortable. At the beginning of the service, you’ll be warmly welcomed and asked to introduce yourself. If you feel comfortable doing so, perhaps you could share a bit about yourself.

Early in the service, we “share the peace” by heartily greeting each other and renewing friendships. There will be announcements about church and community activities, and “Prayers of the People” (prayer requests and praises).

We worship through music, prayer, and scripture readings. Our pastor teaches about the history and meaning of a selected Bible passage and how it affects us today. There will also be a time for accepting offerings to support the church (but don’t feel obligated to give as a visitor).

At the end of the service, we have fun reciting Bible verses from memory to raise money through the Bedwell Foundation for various projects. Then everyone is invited to join in for snacks, coffee and fellowship. And if you’re interested, we encourage you to sign up for the church’s monthly email newsletters.
